    BAGHDAD, Oct 15 (KUNA) - The head of the Authority for the Welfare of People with Disabilities and Special Needs at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Asghar Abdul Razzaq al-Moussawi, announced on Sunday that the law on disabled people includes articles stipulating penalties for persons with disabilities if they violate the rules And the provisions of Law No. (38) for the year 2013.













    "According to article (21) of Chapter Seven on penalties, a penalty of imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or a fine of not less than (500) thousand dinars or two penalties Any person who claims, contrary to the fact, that he or she is disabled or needs special care and receives an exemption, a concession, a grant or a grant, as provided in this law, shall recover all the amounts and privileges granted to him. He explained that article (22) of the same law provides for imprisonment for the same period, not exceeding six months, or a fine of not less than (500) thousand dinars and not more than one million dinars each person with disabilities or special needs exploited his disability as a means of begging, , Referring to "the need to reduce the phenomenon of begging deployed in the streets of the capital Baghdad."
