The Parliamentary Finance Committee called on Monday for the government to expedite the sending of the draft budget budget for the next year, noting that the International Monetary Fund is pressing towards reducing the salaries of employees and the operational budget.

"The federal government has delayed sending a draft federal budget law to parliament according to the constitutional time and scheduled on the tenth of this month and it should expedite its dispatch without delay," said the committee's decision MP Ahmad Hama.

He added that "the IMF imposed on the government during a meeting last Thursday in the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers on the budget to reduce the salaries of employees and reduce the funds of the operational budget, which is about 38 trillion dinars in exchange for lending Iraq funds to fill the budget deficit," adding that " Condition in order to respond formally in the coming days. "
