     trade deficit ends mid 2018
Jordanian Prime Minister Hani al-Mulqi said on Monday that his country's budget deficit of 571 million dollars in the first half of this year could end by the middle of next year. Al-Mulqi said, "Jordan will see the light in mid-2018," adding that "any attack on public funds will be dealt with through the penal code. . Jordan has since February carried out a package of measures including raising fuel prices, increasing telecommunications charges and imposing increases in government fees to boost revenues. The budget deficit amounted to $ 404.7 million due to foreign grants, which declined in the first half of this year by 51 percent to $ 166.4 million, compared to $ 339.8 million during the same period of 2016.

Reuters) - The unemployment rate rose to 10.7 percent from June to August, compared with 10.2 percent a month ago, but unchanged from the same period a year ago, the Turkish Institute of Statistics said on Monday.

The euro is down after the biggest weekly increase in a month
The euro fell on Monday after hitting its biggest weekly loss in a month, but prices were confined to their usual ranges ahead of the central bank meeting next week as policymakers are set to unveil a plan to cut standard stimulus policies. Given the weak impact of the political uncertainty caused by Catalonia's efforts to independence from Spain and the result of Austria's election in currency markets compared to bond markets, investors preferred to distance themselves to focus on economic data. The single currency fell 0.1 percent to $ 1.1814, but moved in a narrow range of 0.3 percent. The single currency rose 0.8 percent last week, the largest monthly increase, according to Thomson Reuters. The euro's losses were limited by the weak dollar in general as low inflation data boosted expectations that the Federal Reserve would not take a hard line at a meeting at the end of the month.
