The State Security in Qatar stormed the palace of Sheikh Sultan bin Suhaim al-Thani in Doha yesterday, where he attacked two workers and confiscated important documents, sources told Sky News on Monday.
The sources said that "the palace of Sheikh Sultan bin Suhaim al-Thani in Doha was the intrusion of an armed force carried out by a unit of Qatari security forces last Thursday."
In a statement last month, Sultan bin Suhaim expressed his support for Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al-Thani's call for a national meeting to rectify the situation in Qatar after the Qatari regime continued to support terrorism and conspire against the countries of the region.
According to the same sources, "State Security in Qatar issued all documents and holdings of Sheikh Sultan bin Suhaim", and "the archive .. which is an important information and political wealth ..".
The authorities seized all "seals, instruments and commercial contracts belonging to Sheikh Sultan bin Suhaim, which poses a risk of forgery and damage," according to sources.
