    Baghdad - Journal News
The Iraqi parliament intends to vote on the candidates of the new Electoral Commission, putting before him a number of reasons that prevented the resolution of this file, which is facing controversy and disagreement over the names of candidates.
A member of the Legal Committee in the Parliament, "Salim Shawki," in a statement to the «Journal News», that "the House of Representatives Egypt to vote for the candidates of the Committee of Nine Representatives of the Electoral Commission," asserting the existence of objections by (60) deputies attributed the reason that " Objectors consider candidates to be political and non-independent. "
He added that "the parliament will vote on the names of candidates for several reasons, including that the maturity of the eligibility of a nearby election must be resolved and the unwillingness to renew the current Commission and try to resolve matters with regard to the Commission and the election law so there is no justification for postponing the elections scheduled for next April."
He pointed out that "the presence of Kurdish deputies of the Kurdistan Union Party and the bloc of change is likely to vote as they have received candidates within the Committee of Experts."
