US judge suspends Trump's decision to ban entry of citizens of eight countries

A US federal judge ruled on Tuesday night that President Trump's decision to ban the entry of citizens of eight countries into the United States of America would be delayed.
This is President Trump's latest attempt to impose restrictions on the entry of citizens of eight states into the United States, which was due to enter into force this week.
The indefinite ban, announced last month, targeted travelers from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Chad and North Korea, as well as government officials from Venezuela.
The ban was the latest amendment to a policy that had previously targeted six Muslim-majority countries and restricted its implementation to the Supreme Court.
Last January, Trump issued an executive order preventing the entry of refugees and travelers from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and Iraq. The matter was met with widespread public, political and human outrage, which also led to its cancellation.
