The American Society revealed the lack of warships in the US Navy, while referring to three basic indicators of size, capacity and preparations.
The Heritag Society said in a report that  a catastrophic result of the US Navy in terms of "US naval forces face slow death." In this sense, the US Navy faces serious and serious problems, most notably the lack of warships and military vessels that make the administration's task difficult.
"In order for the United States to be able to respond to and engage in all regional and global conflicts overseas, the US Navy needs more than 346 military vessels, while America now has only 279 ships," says American expert Thomas Callinder.
"The US fleet today is smaller than the US fleet during the First World War, which was able to maintain the security of the country and to meet all military orders around the world. Compared to today, the US fleet is weak and unable to meet daily operational tasks."
On the other hand, the report pointed to the decline in the life of US warships and this led to delays in maintenance and inadequate capacity of public and private shipyards to accommodate them and by 2019 may become a critical delay.
Thus, the report concludes that the US Navy is in a deep hole now and will not be able to solve all its problems in just one year.
