The House of Representatives held on Wednesday, its 26 of the current legislative term under the chairmanship of the President of the Council Salim al-Jubouri and the presence of 172 deputies, is scheduled to witness the meeting to complete the vote on the proposed law to amend the law of the Independent High Electoral Commission, and complete the vote on the draft amendment to the Third Law Governorates not organized in a province.

A parliamentary source said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The House of Representatives held its 26 of the current legislative term headed by Salim al-Jubouri and the presence of 172 deputies," noting that "the meeting will witness the completion of the vote on the proposed law amendment of the law of the Independent High Electoral Commission No. 11 of 2007 , And the work report of the Committee of Experts for the selection of members of the Electoral Commission for elections.

The source, who asked not to be named, that "the meeting will witness the completion of the vote on the draft amendment to the third law of the provinces not organized in the territory No. (21) for 2008, and vote in principle on the proposed law to amend the law of elections of the House of Representatives No. (45) 2013, and vote in principle on the proposed law amending the Personal Status Law No. (188) for the year 1959, and the report and discussion of the draft law of the first amendment to the law of elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives No. (45) for the year 2013.

The session will also see, according to the source, "the vote on the draft law to ratify the Convention on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments between Iraq and Iran, And vote on the draft law amending the law of the Association of Accountants and Auditors, and vote on the draft amendment of the second law of the Central Bank of Iraq issued by Order No. (56) for the year 2004 on the Coalition Provisional Authority (dissolved), and complete discussion of the draft law to appeal the law in the provisions and decisions of real estate ownership , And the report and discussion of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Grain Trade Agreement of 1995. "It

is noteworthy that the Speaker of the House of Representatives raised its ordinary session held on Monday (October 9, 2017), its regular to another notice, while the Speaker of Parliament Salim Jubouri to Session may "urgent."
