    Baghdad - Journal News
Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Thursday received an invitation from Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz to attend the first coordination meeting to be held in Saudi Arabia next weekend.
"King Salman has blessed the government and the people with the victories against terrorism," he said, stressing that "Saudi Arabia is willing to strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries."
The statement added that "Abadi stressed that Iraq is seeking to strengthen cooperation with Saudi Arabia in various fields," adding that "the battle with terrorism and the elimination of a supporter is at its end and we are close to resolve the battle and look forward to the contribution of countries to restore stability."
