{International: Euphrates News} The number of victims of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, as a result of clashes with terrorists in the oases area near Cairo, rose to 54 people, according to a source in the Egyptian security services.
Earlier on Friday, a police force was hunting down a dangerous terrorist cell hiding in a desert area. The terrorists targeted by this operation had previously participated in several bloody terrorist attacks and were considered one of the most dangerous terrorist elements in Egypt. .

He added that "54 policemen were killed immediately, including 20 officers."
The source confirmed that the operation was completed, and that the police and army are clearing the collision zone within a radius of forty kilometers.
The newspaper "Al Watan" Egyptian, quoting security sources, said that the police forces used helicopters to trap terrorists at the kilo 135 marine oases in Giza.
