[ltr]"The contracts are preliminary, not prepared for implementation and no further details are given," Al-Allaibi told reporters in Baghdad.[/ltr]
[ltr]On Thursday, Rosneft agreed to control Iraq's main oil pipeline, boosting its investment in the autonomous region to $ 3.5 billion.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Iraqi government has warned companies not to sign contracts with Iraqi Kurdistan and Iraqi forces seized control of oil-rich Kirkuk this week from Kurdish forces.[/ltr]
[ltr]Rosneft said it would invest money in expanding the pipeline, hoping to increase its capacity by one third to 950,000 bpd. This equates to about 1 percent of the world's total supply.[/ltr]
[ltr]The pipeline is usually 600,000 barrels per day, but that amount fell to only 200,000 bpd this week after Iraqi forces took control of Kirkuk.[/ltr]
[ltr]The signing of Rosneft means control of the Kurdish export pipeline by 60% and the private Kurdish car company (40%).[/ltr]
[ltr]Carr will manage the pipeline that will transport 390,000 barrels / day from the fields of Khoramala Dome and Bai Hassan within the Kurdistan Region.[/ltr]
[ltr]Rosneft will develop the current pipeline to accommodate a larger production (950,000 barrels / day) ... for the Kurdistan Regional Government[/ltr]
[ltr]Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi Jabbar al-Luaibi issued a warning and warning from the Federal Oil Ministry that any contracts not known to Baghdad and is not a party is invalid.[/ltr]
