    The coalition of "state law" led by Iraqi Vice President "Nuri al-Maliki," on Wednesday, the reasons for the decline of the Kurdistan region of the referendum in northern Iraq and the freezing of its results.
    "The retreat of security forces near Erbil forced Massoud Barzani to freeze the separatist referendum," MP Jassem Mohammad Jaafar told The Journal News.
    He added that "the federal government refuses to freeze the results of the referendum secession and that" the position of Prime Minister Haider Abadi clear from the referendum in Kurdistan is to cancel and not freeze in addition to pursuing criminals and fugitives within the region. "
    He pointed out that "the Kurdish forces maneuvering and procrastination in the issue of the referendum to get out in the least losses, especially as they live in major crises and splits within the region between the political forces."
     The Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Wednesday its offer to the Iraqi government to immediately cease the ceasefire and stop all military operations, and expressed its readiness to freeze the results of the referendum held last September.
