Scientists have discovered an ancient city in the center of the Pacific Ocean, located in an unusual and mysterious place on the coast of Micronesia.
The discovery of an Islamic costume bearing the name of "God" in the cemetery of the Viking civilization (video and pictures)[/size]
The city is located in Pohnpei Island and is called Nan-Madol and consists of regular geometrical squares separated by water channels. According to experts, it was built in the first or second century AD.

Scientists have discovered an ancient city in the center of the Pacific Ocean, located in an unusual and mysterious place on the coast of Micronesia.

The city is located in Pohnpei Island and is called Nan-Madol and consists of regular geometrical squares separated by water channels. According to experts, it was built in the first or second century AD.
The effects were made of basalt stones and coral blocks. There are ruins of temples, houses, palaces and tombs.
The city grew far from the ancient civilizations known and this is why it is called the mysterious city.
Scientists believe that Nan-Madol is the first city on the Pacific islands. It was the capital, a center for religious rites and a resting place for former military leaders.
