Israeli planes bomb an arms depot in central Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, as well as state television, said on Thursday that Israeli aircraft bombed an arms depot in the area of the countryside of Homs.
The Observatory said in a statement that "the Israeli Air Force bombed a storehouse of weapons in the countryside of Homs, in a raid added to another raid launched in recent weeks inside Syrian territory."
For his part, Syrian state television announced that "Syrian ground anti-aircraft" responded to the aggression, "Israeli", as he put it.
The Israeli air force, for its part, has said it has shelled weapons convoys for the Syrian army and its ally, the Lebanese Hezbollah group, nearly 100 times in the past few years.
