    [ltr]Oil Minister Jabbar al-Allaibi told reporters on Thursday that his country supports keeping restrictions on global oil supplies to support prices, adding that $ 60 a barrel would be an acceptable price target for his country.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Iraq is the second largest producer of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) after Saudi Arabia. OPEC is expected to extend restrictions on oil production when it meets in Vienna at the end of this month.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Iraq's oil minister said $ 60 per barrel was an "acceptable" price.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The oil ministry in Baghdad said earlier in the day that the average price of selling Iraqi crude reached $ 52.60 a barrel in October[/ltr]
    [ltr]Iraqi oil minister Jabbar al-Luaibi told reporters in Baghdad that Iraqi forces took control of the Akkas gas field on Thursday from an advocacy organization.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Iraqi forces launched an offensive last month to expel the terrorist organization from the last area still under its control in Iraq on the border with Syria where the field is located.[/ltr]
