[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD, Nov. 2 (UPI) - President Fuad Masoum on Thursday ratified the First Amendment to the Amnesty Law No. (27) of 2016, the presidential press office said.
"This law, which was voted by the lower house of parliament earlier, has started the seriousness of the terrorist crimes and crimes of kidnapping people in society, especially after 10/6/2014, in order not to allow the perpetrators to escape punishment and not to encourage others," the press office said in a brief statement. To commit and for the purpose of increasing the amount of the fine on the sentence replaced or measure, "noting that" this law was sent for publication in the Official Gazette. " AH
