BAGHDAD / Al-Ghad Press: 
A report by the Central Bank of Iraq, that sales rose by 3 billion dollars, during the first half of this year, compared to the first half of 2016. 
The report, which received "Al-Gharab Press" a copy of it, "The quantities sold from the US dollar in the window of the sale and purchase of foreign currency in the Central Bank of Iraq recorded (in cash and the strengthening of bank accounts and documentary credits), up by about $ 3 billion during the first quarter of 2017, (37.8%) to reach $ 10.9 billion compared to $ 7.9 billion. "
The report said that "these amounts were distributed by 2.3 billion dollars sold in cash, and 7.1 billion dollars to strengthen the accounts of banks and $ 1.5 billion documentary credits."
