Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri affirmed that the understanding with the President of the Republic on the current crisis is complete, complete and accomplished, and it is too early to talk about resigning or forming a government.
Lebanese President Michel Aoun met at the Baabda palace on Monday evening with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on his arrival in Beirut, coming from Sharm el-Sheikh where he met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The latest developments were presented on the local scene following the announcement by Prime Minister Saad Hariri of his resignation from abroad and the results of contacts and consultations held by President Aoun in this regard, according to the Lebanese National Information Agency.
After the meeting, President Berri stressed that "the understanding with the President in the current crisis is complete, complete and accomplished. I strongly support the statement issued by the Presidency regarding the resignation, and "Bakir Keter Ktir Keter" talk about the resignation or the formation of a government.
"Constitutionally, I can not say there is a serious resignation or not," he said.
