Ibrahim Al-Rikabi: global investment companies hesitate to Iraqi environment because of political problems and constraints

(newsletter). According to economy and Investment Committee member
MP//Ibrahim Al-Rikabi, discreet global firms ready to enter the Iraqi
environment for business and investment, but wait for resolving internal
problems and remove obstacles facing it.

Rikabi said (News
Agency): major global companies and discreet willing and adequately
prepared to work and invest in Iraq, but at the same time reluctant to
enter because of political problems and red tape and obstacles facing
investment process in the country.

He added: the Government and
the House of representatives demanding solutions to end political
differences and remove obstacles and constraints facing investment
process to attract international companies to work and invest in the
country.

The investment process is evident in the reluctance of
the country for several reasons including related legislation and other
political and security situations are settled in the country./finished/8
