US President Donald Trump on Wednesday canceled a surprise visit to the demilitarized zone on the border of the two Koreas because of bad weather.
"The helicopter carrying the US president almost reached the area before returning because of the bad weather," NBS said in a news item.
"Trump returned to the US base at Yongsan Garrison, because of the fog and lack of vision to prepare for a speech before the South Korean parliament," she said.
Such provocative visits by US presidents to the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas since Ronald Reagan, with the exception of George W. Bush, have been the same trip when he was vice president. Ending / 25 z
