For the first time in its history .. Qatar appoints 4 women in the Shura Council[/rtl]

The Emir of the State of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad, on Thursday issued a decree appointing 28 new members of the Shura Council, including four women for the first time in the history of the country.
The Qatari news agency Qana said today that Tamim's decision "included the appointment of Hessa al-Jaber, Aisha al-Mannai, Hind al-Miftah and Reem al-Mansouri as members of the Shura Council."
The decision also included the renewal of the membership of another 13 members of the Shura Council.
In the same context, the Emir of Qatar issued a decree inviting the Shoura Council to hold the regular session of the 46th session next Tuesday.
The Emir of Qatar also ordered the Minister of Justice Hassan al-Muhannadi to undertake the work of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs in addition to his duties
