    Baghdad - Journal News
Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said during his meeting with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani in the capital Doha that Iraq does not enter into the policy of axes in the region.

"Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari discussed during the meeting the most important issues of concern to Baghdad and Doha and means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to overcome the challenges facing the Arab region," the statement said.
Jaafari stressed that "Iraq has passed the stage of war against the supporter of the terrorist and will begin the war against the destruction caused by terrorism and will rebuild the Iraqi cities."
"Iraq is a rich country with many resources but it is going through difficult circumstances as a result of the security challenge of the war against terrorism and the economic challenge of low oil prices and the cost of war against terrorists, and he looks forward to the continued support of brotherly and friendly countries in the field of reconstruction."
Al-Jaafari pointed out that "Iraq enjoys excellent relations with its Arab, regional and international environment and seeks to employ its relations to achieve security and stability in the region."
For his part, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, praised the victories achieved by the Iraqis in their war against the terrorist preacher, praising the role of Iraq diplomacy aimed at adopting dialogue and overcoming the challenges facing the Arab region.
He noted that "Qatar believes in the importance of bilateral relations with Iraq and contribute to the reconstruction of the infrastructure of Iraqi cities during the coming period," revealing "his country's desire to exchange visits between officials of the two countries and promote economic and investment cooperation."
