Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi warned on Saturday of attempts to influence security and create chaos through social networking sites. He also warned against the use of security forces and popular mobilization in the upcoming elections, expressing Iraq's readiness to play a regional role to resolve the crises of the region. Al-Abadi arrived in Karbala province on Sunday morning, one day after the end of the 40-day visit, which was attended by more than 15 million Iraqi and foreign visitors. "Our heroine forces, with their visits and visitors, are fighting terrorism," he said during a joint news conference with local and local security leaders in Karbala. "Today we have begun clearing the island and the Euphrates high to the Syrian border, which are vast desert areas that need to be cleared." He stressed that "all the terrorist threats that tried to target the four-day visit failed."
The operations of the Middle Euphrates had announced yesterday, the success of the security plan to secure the visit of the forty, without recording any security violations negligible.
"There are those who help the terrorists through campaigns of intimidation and intimidation of citizens in social communication about the occurrence of mock explosions, and the media, intellectuals and all citizens caution against them."
"There is someone who is trying to weaken our security apparatuses because of shortsightedness and to achieve political gain," the prime minister said.
"We succeeded in three: liberating the land, reuniting the homeland and aborting an attempt to endanger the internal security of the country, but this danger still exists," he said, calling on media, religious institutions and educated elites to "address the intellectual threat of terrorism."
On the other hand, the prime minister said that "the heroes of the heroic crowd and the security services and the military fought not for political or party to win the elections, but for their homeland," warning of "the use of the crowd and the security and military services in the elections." On the date of the next elections, Abadi stressed that "it will be conducted on time." "There is dissatisfaction with the political process and we have to repair." He pointed out that "the Commission operates according to law and according to the system and do not allow any armed faction to participate in the elections."
On the developments of the crisis with the Kurdistan region, the Prime Minister that "the Peshmerga elements heroes and fought terrorism and accused of abuse because they did not carry weapons against the army." Abizaid "the region a little patience and we will pledge to launch allocations to them, and do not need mediation with our Kurdish people." On the regional developments, Abadi said that "the region is witnessing a dangerous escalation will lead to the emergence of terrorist groups and suicide bombings and killings and displacement .. We warn of this escalation." "Those who believe in the region that they will be safe from the threat of terrorism when they target another country are more important." "Iraq is ready to play a role in solving the problems in the region and it has the experience to make it a cadre to remove the region from this danger," he said. . Later, al-Abbadi met the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtadir al-Sadr in the guest house in Karbala province. The latter arrived in the province on Saturday from Najaf.
