Iranian government spokesman Mohammad Baqir Nobkhat said Tehran has taken practical steps to exclude the dollar from its international trade dealings, to focus more on the euro.
"Resolutions have been adopted regarding the exclusion of the dollar from trade, for further cooperation among the countries of the region, including Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan," he said in a press statement on Sunday. "We are moving in this direction."
On the other hand, announced the Iranian government spokesman, the transfer of draft draft budget for the new fiscal year of the Iranian cabinet, which will begin discussion this week, and is expected to be handed over to the Shura Council, the Iranian parliament, within a month and a half.
