    Russian, Tunisian presidents condolence of Iraq over earthquake victims


     Baghdad / Range 

    President Fuad Masum received a letter from Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday, in which he expressed his condolences for the deaths of the victims of the earthquake that struck several Iraqi provinces last Sunday.
    An earthquake measuring 7 Richter on Sunday evening hit a number of Iraqi provinces and was stationed at the Iranian border with Iraq. 
    The earthquake killed seven people and injured hundreds, as well as some damage to a number of buildings. 
    A statement by the Office of the President of the Republic that "Fuad Masoum received today (Wednesday), the Russian Ambassador to Iraq Maxim Maximov." 
    Ambassador Maximov conveyed a written message from Russian President Vladimir Putin, which included condolences to the president, infallible to the earthquake.
    Putin stressed the readiness of Russia and its support for Iraq and its desire to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields. "For his part, Masoum stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral ties and bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in the cultural, scientific, military and economic fields and exchanging experiences. Russia supports Iraq, especially in its war against terrorism. "At the same level, the Tunisian President, Mr. Béji Kayed Al-Sibsi, attributed President Fuad Masum to the earthquake that hit Iraqi provinces 
    , and expressed his deep sympathy to the Iraqi people and solidarity People A Tunisian with his Iraqi brother following the earthquake that hit a number of Iraqi provinces and caused casualties in lives and property.
    The Tunisian president offered his condolences to the Iraqi people and expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences. He called on the victims to be gracious and to preserve the Republic of Iraq and its brotherly people from all evil. Khamis al-Jahnawi, the Tunisian foreign minister, also sent a cable of condolences to his brother, Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the Iraqi foreign minister.
