Shafaq News / Israeli Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot expressed his country's readiness to exchange experiences and intelligence with moderate Arab countries to confront Iran, stressing the existence of a consensus with Riyadh in this regard.

"What is said about Israel's support for the pro-Syrian front is empty talk, and it is an enemy of Israel, like a preacher," Eisenkot said in an interview.

"Saudi Arabia and Israel have common interests in dealing with Iran," he said. "There is complete agreement between us and Saudi Arabia on this matter, which has never been an enemy, fought or fought us."

"When I heard what the Saudi delegate said, I found that it was exactly the same as what I think about Iran and the need to confront it in the region and the need to stop its expansionary programs," he said.

He explained that Tel Aviv is ready to share information if necessary with Saudi Arabia, adding "there are many common interests between us and them."
