    The kingdom's budget deficit reached $ 32.4 billion in the first nine months of 2017, according to the Middle East Bank Monitor.
    Saudi Arabia reported a budget deficit of 121.5 billion riyals ($ 32.4 billion) in the first nine months of this year, down 40 percent from 2016, according to the report.
    This came in the financial report, announced by the Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia, on the performance of the general budget of the Kingdom for the third quarter, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".
    Saudi Arabia's revenues amounted to 450.1 billion riyals (120 billion dollars) and 571.6 billion riyals ($ 152.4 billion) in the period.
     Total revenue for the third quarter was 142.1 billion riyals ($ 37.89 billion), an increase of 11 percent over the same period last year. Non-oil revenues for the second quarter were 47.8 billion riyals ($ 12.74 billion), while oil revenues Billion riyals ($ 25.14 billion).
     Total expenses during the third quarter were 190.9 billion riyals ($ 50.9 billion), up 5 percent from the same quarter last year. The deficit during the third quarter of 2017 was about 48.7 billion rials ($ 12.98 billion).
    The Saudi Finance Ministry estimated budget revenues for the current year at 692 billion riyals ($ 184.53 billion) and expenditures at 890 billion riyals ($ 237 billion), with the country's deficit at 198 billion riyals ($ 52.8 billion).
