Iran's exports to the EU during the first nine months of this year grew by 107 percent compared with the same period last year, bringing the value of Iranian exports to Europe to about 7.252 billion euros.
The European Commission's website said in a statement published on its official website Sunday, "Trend Press" that the trade between Iran and the European Union achieved a total growth of 62 percent in the first nine months of the current year.
According to the site, the value of trade between Iran and the European Union during the period between January and September of the previous year is about 9.101 billion euros, and has achieved a growth of 62 percent during the same period of this year to the value of trade between the parties about 14.782 billion euros .
Iranian exports to Europe rose significantly after the resumption of supply of European oil to Iran as a result of the nuclear agreement, achieving an important growth rate in trade between Iran and Europe.
In the first nine months of 2016, EU member states imported about $ 3.498 billion worth of Iranian goods, while in the same period this year it grew by 107 percent to reach 7.252 billion euros.
European exports to Iran also grew by 34 percent, bringing the total value of goods imported from the European Union to about 7.53 billion euros during the first nine months of this year from 5.603 billion euros during the same period last year.
