Egypt is "worried" about North Korea's missile test
Egypt on Wednesday expressed "deep concern" about North Korea's new missile test.
The statement said in a statement to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, stressing that this action "would escalate the tension on the Korean Peninsula and neighboring areas in an unprecedented manner."
Egypt called for "the need to respect the relevant Security Council resolutions and the principles of the United Nations Charter, which affirm respect for the sovereignty of States and the principles of good neighborliness and the non-use of force in international relations or the threat of their use."
North Korea's official media said in a statement on Wednesday that Pyongyang had successfully launched a new type of Huasong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile.
According to state television, the missile was the strongest ever to North Korea and it flew 950 kilometers for 53 minutes while reaching 4,755 kilometers. Finished
