The QS Foundation, which ranks universities scientifically, has ranked the world's top universities for the year 2018.
The universities of Baghdad and Kufa ranked 11th and 15th respectively in the Arab universities included in the international classification.
"In its assessment of more than 900 universities around the world, it has relied on several indicators of academic reputation, postgraduate employment, quality of teaching and scientific research, and its attractiveness to international students," the Foundation said.
The ranking of the universities of the Arab countries ranked in the world ranking King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia 173 King Saud University 221 King Abdulaziz University 267 Qatar University 349 UAE University 390 Gulf Arab University in Bahrain 411-420 University Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, Sultan Qaboos University 451-460 King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia 471-480 Cairo University 481-490 University of Baghdad 501-550.

The University of Alexandria in Egypt, the University of Abu Dhabi, the University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Saudi Arabia, King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia "751-800" Birzeit University in the West Bank, Al-Azhar University in Egypt, the University of Mohammed V in Morocco and the University of Bahrain "801-1000".
The classification of global universities QS is an annual ranking of the 800 best universities in the world, which is published by the company Kwakoarill Symonds ( Quacquarelli Symonds ) competent education , vocational and academic development.
