The General Company for Petrochemical Industries announced its intention to resume operating its production units and resume work next year 2018, after supplying it with natural gas and completing the rehabilitation operations.
"The recent agreement with Basrah Gas Company is to supply the company with sufficient quantities of natural gas to operate its production units and start production next year with a 60% capacity at the start of operation," said Khalid Kazem Naji, the company's general manager.
