    [ltr]Baghdad - Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]The Dawa Party on Sunday issued a statement following the spread of news that the Vice-President of the Republic to the judiciary, while noting that his leader Nuri al-Maliki has become a symbol of resistance in Iraq.[/ltr]
[ltr]"A number of satellite channels and news agencies circulated false news that the vice presidents were referred to the judiciary without confirming the source of the news in a serious media precedent that did not fit the rigidity and credibility of those channels, which have long known their credibility in Iraqi street ".[/ltr]
[ltr]The statement added that "the manner in which this unfounded news was spread did not reflect the position of an official keen to deliver the high media message and lacked the conduct of the profession."[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "our country is going through dangerous political turns and conspiracies woven from inside and outside aims to undermine our national symbols, foremost of which is Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, who has become a symbol of resistance and address all those who aspire to divide Iraq or weaken it, sometimes targeting the popular crowd and plots division at other times."[/ltr]
[ltr]The statement called on all media to be very careful about the drifting behind the "false" news, which represents abhorrent attempts aimed at mixing the papers and misleading the public opinion and retain our legal right to bring legal proceedings against anyone who tries to promote false and misleading news.[/ltr]
