    The Integrity and Public Prosecution Commission on Sunday lied to information about the referral of Vice President of the Republic to the judiciary on the grounds of illegal gain. This came hours after the publication of the semi-official Al-Sabah newspaper, an interview with the head of the Integrity Commission Hassan al-Yasiri, who talked about the referral of the three Vice-Presidents of the Republic to the judiciary.
    Subsequently, the Integrity Commission issued a statement clarifying the circumstances of the meeting and correcting what was stated in it. 
    The statement of the Commission that "the subject of referral of the Vice-President of the Republic to the judiciary on the pretext of illegal gain transfer error from the morning newspaper from an earlier meeting published by the newspaper today (yesterday)," noting that "the Chairman of the Commission mentioned in the context of the meeting information on the issuance of previous resolutions and mentioned in The annual reports of the Commission for the period 2015/2016 published in the media and the website of the Commission. " 
    The Integrity Commission explained that its president "pointed out in the same meeting that the Commission had opened the file of graft for the first time in Iraq by the end of 2015 and in 2016, as the opening of this file to refer former deputy prime ministers to the judiciary in time (2015 / 2016), not Vice-President of the Republic, as claimed by a number of satellite channels and the media, including the newspaper source - morning - a mistake today.
    "While denying the claims made by these satellite channels and the media, it reiterates its call for accuracy and objectivity in the transmission of news," it added. It also called for "taking news and information from its official sources, and not relying on sources that do not represent the body officially, which introduces public opinion in a state of confusion and fog." 
    The Integrity Commission "opened its doors to all national media, in order to exchange information transparently and with high accuracy away from distortions and lack of clarity in the transmission of news." 
    In the same context, the Supreme Judicial Council denied receiving any lawsuit concerning Vice-President of the Republic. 
    Judge Abdul Sattar Birqdar, spokesman for the Supreme Judicial Council, said in a statement received by al-Mada, "We deny that the judiciary received any action against the Vice-President of the Republic, according to the newspaper Al-Sabah in its number issued on Sunday, December 3, 2017" .
    Berkdar called on the media, political and administrative figures not to circulate inaccurate remarks that constitute a crime against the others, and warned against exploiting the name of the judiciary to achieve illegal ends. 
    The Dawa Party also condemned the charges against his secretary-general in the newspaper's article.
