Iraq and Saudi Arabia sign 18 agreements

Iraq and Saudi Arabia signed Tuesday a series of joint energy agreements to deepen strategic cooperation between the two countries.
"Integration and cooperation with Iraq is a priority strategic direction, supported by the leadership of our country," Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Falih said at the signing ceremony.
At the opening of Iraq's seventh oil and gas conference and exhibition in Basra, 14 Saudi and Iraqi companies signed 18 memorandums of understanding in the fields of various energy and related industries, in the presence of Al-Faleh and his Iraqi counterpart Jabbar al-Luaibi.
Al-Faleh added that his participation translates Riyadh's quest to enhance trade relations with Iraq, which is of mutual benefit. Finished
