The deputy of the State of Law Jassim al-Bayati, on Monday, rejected the Arab League for the draft Iraq on the response to America's decision to transfer the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem in disgrace, pointing out that the rejection came under Saudi guidance.
Al-Bayati said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "the rejection of the Arab League proposal of Iraq's decision on US President Donald Trump's decision on Jerusalem was motivated by sectarianism and incitement from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf axis directly," describing it as "shameful."
"Saudi Arabia, as the cornerstone of the Arab League, is pressing to prevent any decision on the interests of the axis of resistance, including any resolution on Iraq and support its regional presence," he said.
Al-Bayati stressed that "what is happening in Jerusalem is with the Saudi-Gulf blessing to undermine the axis of resistance and resistance," adding that "America's decision also reflects Saudi Arabia's direction clearly."
