Adjustment of agricultural loan transactions with more than one billion dinars allocated to deceased in DiyalaBaghdad - Journal News
The Integrity Commission revealed on Tuesday that it was able to control the transactions of agricultural loans disbursed in violation of the controls and instructions at the Agricultural Cooperative Bank - Muqdadiya branch in Diyala province, indicating that the seizure was made under a warrant for judicial arrest.
The Authority said in a statement received by the "Journal News", "the Department of Investigation in the Commission, referring to the details of the control to the receipt of information on the existence of agricultural loans disbursed in an incorrect manner and contrary to the controls and instructions in the branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Muqdadiya, Loans to deceased persons and others without their knowledge ".
She added that "the staff of the Office of Investigation Commission in the province were able to control 46 transactions for agricultural loans disbursed by 1,130,000,000 billion dinars, pointing out that the preliminary investigations led to the existence of cases of disbursement contrary to the controls and instructions and the priorities of forged and under bills (some empty and other fingerprinted only, That its proceedings in the ongoing criminal case are continuing; in order to identify the names of the defaulters and to conduct a match with the borrowers.
The integrity commission warned in November of repeated irregularities in agricultural loan transactions, demanding the Ministry of Finance to put an end to the administrative and financial corruption in the transactions of granting agricultural loans in branches of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank.
