    The 

    city's facilities are not suitable for women and should be reviewed, she said, noting that the space available to women and their transportation is in dire need of reform. 

    Fakhari pointed to the problems of women in the movement and traffic and lack of access to the streets and areas of the city to walk women, whether in a vehicle or on foot, asserting that the Iranians who use these facilities may be exposed to physical hazards or environmental conditions inappropriate. 

    "The use of strollers, shopping carts or even bicycles has become impossible," she said. "The pedestrian areas for women in Tehran are very inappropriate and have many obstacles. 

    A member of the Tehran Council drew attention to the problem of narrow sidewalks in the capital. Stressing that there are no designated places that women can walk or shopping, and asked officials to intervene to solve these problems.

    "The transportation for women is inadequate and totally inappropriate," Fakhari said. "The numbers should be increased and improved to reduce the heavy pressure on metro lines and ease problems." 

    Referring to the increasing rate of depression among women in Iran, Fakhari admitted that Iranian women's sense of injustice and insecurity was a major cause of increasing tension and depression among them, and called on the government to take serious steps to address these problems.
