[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Baghdad - December 15: The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers decided not to cancel the open educational college and consider it a solid college, similar to the Iraqi government colleges affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
A statement issued by the Information Office of the Minister of Education, Mohammed Iqbal said in a statement that "the efforts of the minister, which lasted for months, resulted today from this important decision, noting that the Open Education College is one of the institutions of the Ministry of Education, and opened its doors to students starting from the academic year 2001/2000 In accordance with the system of open education to provide university education / academic staff of the Ministry of Education who did not have the opportunity to complete their studies.
The aim of the college is to provide teachers with diplomas with the opportunity to complete university education and contribute to the quality of education through the use of modern and diverse technical means, which have become important in the development of the educational process and contribute to raising the scientific level of teachers and preparing educational staff for schools.
