(Reuters) - Iraqi oil marketing firm Sumo plans to sell up to four million barrels of Basra crude in January at an auction on Plats on Friday, a memo from Platt said.
Sumo plans to sell two million barrels of Basrah Light crude for the loading of January 20 and another two million barrels from Basra heavy load on Jan. 23.
The supply is both fixed and oil can be bought as a single shipment of 2 million barrels or divided by two million barrels.
Platts will publish confirmed offers from Sumo customers by 3:45 pm Singapore time (0745 GMT) and will remain in effect until 0900 GMT.
It will be the second auction of Sumo on Platts, and the company did not award the shipment it offered at the first auction last month.
S & P Global Platts, a global energy information provider, has been active in the field for more than a century and is now a branch of MacGro-Hill.
Its main activity is industry news, pricing signs for oil and oil, natural gas, electricity, nuclear power, coal, petrochemicals, metals in the markets.
