Minister of Interior arrives in Qatar

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Interior Minister Qassem al-Araji arrived in Doha on Saturday for an official visit to discuss Arab security and counter-terrorism. Al-Araji's office said in a statement received by Al-Mada that the latter arrived in Qatar on an official visit and was received by senior security leaders in the State of Qatar. "Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji headed a high-ranking delegation that included a number of agents and officials from the ministry on an official visit to Qatar," the interior ministry said in a statement. The minister said that Araji will "discuss with the security officials a number of files of common interest based on strengthening Arab security and combating terrorism and exchanging information and experience between the two brotherly countries."
