    [ltr]WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump's team accused the independent investigator charged with interfering in the US presidential election with tens of thousands of "illegal" emails, US media reported Sunday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]In a letter to congressional committees, attorney Corey Langover said a federal agency, the Public Services Department, had illegally issued special material, including private talks on which independent prosecutor Robert Mueller had relied, as part of an investigation into the Russian intervention in the 2016 election, "Axios" news.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The accusations by Langover, who represents Trump's transition team, are a new step taken by Republicans to question the credibility of Muller's investigation, which has so far led to the indictment of Michael Flynn, a former national security adviser to Trump, and three people linked to his campaign.[/ltr]
