    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The US military is suffering from structural weaknesses that may not be able to counter the threats posed by China, Russia and other countries, and may make them vulnerable in the ongoing war against terrorism, according to a study by the Rand Corporation.
    The study, titled "American Forces and Capabilities in a Dangerous World," quoted by The Washington Post, highlighted the need for the United States to reform its structural structure and military plans to be better in the face of military challenges.
    The Rand report added that the United States could lose the next war that might be necessary, even though the United States outperformed China by 2.7 to 1, and surpassed Russia by 6 to 1.
    The report recommended that the US military "refocus its capabilities to combat its top five adversaries - China, Russia, North Korea, Iran and terrorist groups - rather than rehabilitate its forces to fight two regional battles at a time of overlap."
    "The US military needs to accelerate the development of air-to-surface and air-to-air missiles, to produce a larger arsenal of cruise missiles and to concentrate it in regional bases. There is also a need for more e-war equipment and more aircraft capable of disappearing from radars , The development of satellites immune to attacks, as well as space weapons. "
