Shafaq News / The head of the current federal government Haider Abadi said on Tuesday that the Council of Ministers decided to hold local and legislative elections in a single date.
"After the end of the military operations, we are going to develop all the units," Abadi told a weekly conference after a meeting with his government team.
He added that "the Council of Ministers decided to merge the provincial elections with the legislative elections at one time," calling on the House of Representatives to accelerate the adoption of the financial budget for 2018.
