Israel negotiates 10 states to recognize Jerusalem as its capital
Tel Aviv has confirmed negotiations with more than 10 countries on the question of recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and transferring its embassies to the holy city.
"Some of the countries that Israel is negotiating with are located on the European continent," Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovili said in a press statement. "The Israeli foreign ministry is doing a balanced job with each of them."
The negotiations are focused on recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and not on the immediate transfer of embassies there, she added.
According to Israeli diplomats, it is likely Honduras will be the one to take a decision along the lines of the United States and Guatemala
