{International: Al Furat News} Iran's National Oil Company (NIOC) said it had managed to extinguish a fire in the well of 147 RAK-SAFED field in southern Iran, 58 days after it was set on fire.
"The fire in the 147 field of the RAK oilfield was extinguished last night," the official news agency IRNA quoted the assistant director of the National Oil Production Company as saying.
The well 147 in the oil field (Rk) oil between Amideh (province of Khostan) and Bandar Dilm (Bushehr province) caught fire on October 29 last and led to the burning of platform 95 National Drilling Company and the death of two workers.
