Iraqi Economic Forum discusses the preparations for the Kuwait Conference of donors
The Constituent Assembly of the Iraqi Economic Forum held a consultative meeting to discuss the preparations and requirements for the Kuwait donor conference to build Iraq scheduled for February next year.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce Jaafar al-Hamdani and the President of the Association of Iraqi private banks Wadih al-Hanal and the President of the Federation of Iraqi Industries Ali Sobeih and the President of the Union of Contractors Ali Fakhir Snafi and Chairman of the Iraqi National Business Council Daoud Abdul Zair.
"The meeting discussed the preparations and requirements for the Kuwait donors conference to build Iraq, which is scheduled to be held in February next year," Majid al-Sudani, spokesman for the forum, said in an interview with the Economist News. "The meeting called on the preparatory committee to include the unions and organizations representing the sector Special in these committees ".
"The meeting called for the need to cooperate with the financial institutions of the conference, which is represented by the World Bank in accordance with its rules for the success of this first experiment internationally."
He added that "it was decided during the meeting to hold a second meeting on the twenty-second of January next at the headquarters of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and will be invited all organizations under the banner of the Forum."
