    Information / follow-up ...
A Reuters survey showed Thursday that OPEC and Russia's efforts to cut output and expectations of strong global demand for crude would keep oil prices near $ 60 a barrel in 2018.
The average price of Brent crude next year will be $ 59.88 per barrel, compared to their previous estimate of $ 58.84 a barrel, according to the Reuters survey of 32 economists.
The Nymex crude oil price outlook for 2018 was $ 55.78 a barrel, compared with a previous forecast of $ 54.78 a barrel.
The survey's analysts said OPEC's strong commitment to supply should support prices, while on the other hand they pointed out that increased oil production in the United States could affect price hikes.
The survey said production disruption in Libya and Nigeria and the prospect of new US sanctions on Iran would support prices next year.
