Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, rejected any humiliation that targets the security elements, emphasizing the necessity of applying the law on all citizens without discrimination.

The Sadr office published on the Facebook that “Sadr met the traffic policeman, Hussein Razaq al-Ubaidi, and listened to the details of the incident that took place between the IP and a member of Najaf Provincial Council affiliated to Sadr Trend.”

“Al-Sadr appreciated the efforts of the Iraqi Security Forces for sustaining security situation and securing citizens’ lives and urged them to continue applying the law on all citizens without discrimination,” the statement added.

It stressed “Muqtada al-Sadr emphasized the necessity to show respect for the ISF and expressed his rejection for any kind of humiliation against them while doing their duties.”
