The Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, on Sunday, that the revenues generated by the Customs Authority during the current year 2017 amounted to less than half a billion dollars, confirming that this indicates "big corruption" in the body.
"He was expected to achieve revenues of 10 - 12 billion dollars, or about 15 trillion Iraqi dinars during the current year 2017," said a member of the Committee Haytham Jubouri said in a press statement, noting that "this is not commensurate with the size of the import movement witnessed by Country. "
Jubouri added that "the revenues achieved were much less than expected, amounting to only one billion dollars," pointing out that "this indicates a large corruption in the customs"
