Russian Parliament: Trump's remarks about Syria do not agree with reality

MOSCOW (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump's comments on US achievements in Syria are far from reality, Russian parliamentarian Alexei Boschov said Sunday.
"Trump's remarks about the American achievements in Syria have nothing to do with facts," Bushkov said in a Twitter comment on the social networking site Twitter. "It's beyond the truth," a false reality, for political purposes.
In his weekly address to the citizens, Trump said the US-led coalition had won nearly 100 percent of the land of the Da'ash organization in Syria and Iraq.
The US Central Command said earlier that more than 800 civilians had been killed by US-led coalition raids since its operations in Syria and Iraq.
"According to the information available today, the Central Command believes that 817 civilians have been unintentionally killed by coalition strikes since the operation began," the command said in a statement. The investigation continues for another 603 incidents.
